DateTimeXtra is a scripting xtra for Adobe/Macromedia Director.
It provides functions for getting date and time related information.

You can get the local and UTC time, convert to and from Julian Date, get information about the time zone, daylight savings time, leap years and more.

The xtra contains a high resolution timer counting in microseconds, a thousand times better than Director's built in milliseconds. Additional you can monitor the CPU load of your projects by getting the CPU time of the running process, i.e. the time actually spent on the processor.

Last but not least you can get the moon phase or the precentage of the moon's illumination for any given date or the sign on the zodiac to name a few.
